Responsibilities:
Metro area deliveries/Local routes
Average of 75-150 boxes per delivery on the conveyor belt backing up to dock.
Manual Day Cab/ 53 Foot Trailer, reefers, dry vans, flatbeds
Shift start time: Various Start Times/Monday-Saturday
Knowledge of DOT, warehouse, and shipping documentation; Freight bills, BOL's, Over-Short-Damage reports, Manifest, Driver's log
Follow safety policies in warehouse, docks, driving, loading and unloading.
Provide exceptional customer service and complete deliveries in a timely manner
Effective communication
Pre/Post-dispatch equipment inspections
Safe operations of all equipment
Qualifications:
Valid Class A CDL
Maintain clean driver’s record
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
