The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for aCook Ito join the culinary teamat ENO Artisan Pizzeria\!Joinone of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a$400M renovation \( expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever\. ENO Market & Pizzeria offers two distinct experiences\. Inside, ENO Market offers extensive grab\-and\-go offerings plus coffees, fresh pastries, and sandwiches\. Outside, ENO Pizzeria offers a beautiful new patio gazebo and casual tables for sharing rustic artisanal pizzas, savoring dolce, and enjoying a cocktail or glass of wine\. Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28\-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms,cottagesand villas with65,000 square feetof banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets\. Pay Rate:The pay rate for this role is $22\.44and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location\. A valid Food Handler's Card isrequiredforthis position\. A Cook Iis responsible forpreparing food itemsin accordance withrecipes and established standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability\. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a fast\-paced restaurant/kitchen environment and large scale production with the ability to work varied shifts as needed\. Hotel experience is a plus\! **What will I be doing?** As a Cook I, you wouldbe responsible forpreparing food itemsin accordance withrecipes and established standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability\. Specifically, you wouldbe responsible forperforming the following tasks to the highest standards: Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards Maintain cleanliness andcomply withfood sanitation standards at all times Manage guest orders in a friendly,timelyand efficient manner Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products Stock andmaintaindesignated food station\(s\) Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed Reads and employs math skills to follow recipes **What are we looking for?** Since being founded in 1919, Hilton has been a leader in the hospitality industry\.
