Event servers are responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service during hotel events such as weddings, meetings, banquets, and other special occasions. This role ensures a positive guest experience by efficiently setting up, serving, and breaking down banquet spaces while adhering to company standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Set up banquet rooms according to event orders and guest needs (tables, linens, chairs, glassware, silverware, etc.)
• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Serve food and beverages promptly, accurately, and courteously
• Maintain a clean and organized service area throughout the event
• Follow timeline and service sequence outlined in banquet event orders
• Clear tables, remove dishes and glassware, and break down setups post-event
• Collaborate with banquet captains and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
• Handle guest requests and complaints with professionalism and urgency
• Ensure all safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures are followed

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience as a banquet or restaurant server is required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Flexible availability.
