Job Description

We’re looking for experienced, friendly hosts/hostesses to join our team. Hosts/hostesses will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing & executing reservations, managing waitlists, escort guests to assigned dining areas.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests in a friendly, positive manner and making them feel welcome
• Actively monitors restaurant activity to determine dining flow and seating strategy
• Answering phone calls and general questions, booking daily reservations
• Estimating wait time for guests
• Knowledgeable in food and beverage menu with the ability to make suggestions based on dietary preferences
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a high-volume environment with all restaurant staff
• In-depth, working knowledge of restaurant best practices and methods, and POS and other technology
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team setting
• Valid King County food handler’s permit
