Job Description
**Overview**
BroadPath is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable **Member Services Representative** to support Medicare Advantage members. This role focuses on delivering a first-in-class customer experience through inbound call handling, member advocacy, and collaborative problem-solving. The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving processes, ensuring compliance, and providing accurate and compassionate support to members.
**Responsibilities**
+ Answer inbound calls for Medicare Advantage members to support line of business objectives product and benefit administration process improvement efficiency and a first in class customer experience
+ Participate in member outreach campaigns as directed
+ Work as a team player on cross functional process improvement teams within the organization
+ Maintain and foster an environment that promotes compliance with all relevant federal state and local laws rules and regulations applicable to State and Federal contracts for Medicare Advantage product offerings
+ Cross train on other products or lines of business
+ Act as a member advocate to internal departments regarding issues while understanding root causes and applicable regulatory requirements
+ Read interpret and identify necessary next steps related to complex member questions or issues
+ Provide accurate and detailed information regarding plan benefits coverage and eligibility criteria
+ Address and resolve inquiries concerns and issues raised by plan members ensuring high customer satisfaction
+ Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Medicare Advantage plans network providers prescription drug coverage and related services
+ Document and update member records in the call center database ensuring accuracy and completeness of information
+ Collaborate with team members supervisors team leads and other departments to resolve or escalate complex member issues
+ Meet or exceed performance metrics including call quality average handling time first call resolution and customer satisfaction scores
+ Continuously improve knowledge and stay updated on Medicare Advantage plans policies and procedures through training programs and resources
+ Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices within the call center
**Qualifications**
+ 2 years previous Medicare experience required
+ Medical and Healthcare terminology knowledge
+ Exceptional customer service and communication skills
+ Strong computer/data entry skills
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Healthcare knowledge and/or experience with call center experience
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-related software programs
+ Ability to work with peers in a team effort and independently resolve issues
+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
+ Capability to efficiently complete tasks in a fast-paced environment
