Position Title: STEWARD - Camp Randall Stadium & Kohl Center Arena

Pay Range : $20 to $24

Job Summary

Summary: Perform job duties required to maintain kitchen work areas, kitchen equipment in clean and orderly condition at Camp Randall Stadium and Kohl Center.

• Supervises dishwashers. 

• Leads a team to complete deep cleaning projects and preventative maintenance on a seasonal basis.

• Washes dishes, pots, pans, utensils and other food preparation machines and equipment.

• Sweeps and mops floors at appropriate intervals to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

• Operates large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, and trash compactors.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and all other food prep surfaces as assigned.

• Removes trash/recycling and places into designated containers. Cleans waste containers in appropriate areas.

• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas observing all safe lifting standards.

• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.

• Complete loading or unloading deliveries Monday - Friday.

• Reports damaged or expiring products during deliveries and daily checks.

• Maintains kitchen stock of daily use items such as gloves, food wrap, chemicals, trash bags, etc...

• Complete daily cooler & freezer temperature logs.

• Complies with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills.

• Basic understanding of QR codes and able to use mobile phone to complete daily checklists.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

• Ability to speak English & Spanish is preferred.

• Ability to lead others.

• Servsafe Food Handler Certification is preferred.

• Hours of required availability: 9am - 7pm
• Able to lead the team closing the kitchen on major event days (Football Games and Concerts) hours vary per event day.
